As of 2026, SCRE and its affiliates manage more than $650 million in real estate assets across New York, Illinois, and Florida. Nick’s entrepreneurial mindset and forward-thinking approach have shaped SCRE’s investment philosophy and competitive position in the real estate industry. Since establishing the company, he has assembled a talented, highly motivated team that shares his commitment to operational excellence, strategic growth, and long-term value creation. Proudly family-owned, SCRE is dedicated to aligning the interests of its employees, residents, investors, and the communities it serves. With an ambitious growth strategy, the company continues to pursue significant multifamily acquisitions and development opportunities annually.
Prior to founding SCRE, Nick served in the White House as Associate Political Director under President George W. Bush, overseeing political affairs throughout the Northeastern United States. He also served in the Office of Public Liaison, acting as a key liaison to Catholic, faith-based, and Italian American communities. Before joining the Bush administration in April 2005, Nick worked at Empire State Development, New York State’s economic development agency, under Governor George Pataki.
Beyond his business accomplishments, Nick has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community service, education, and civic leadership. His nonprofit and volunteer involvement includes a lifelong dedication to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He has served as Chairman of the SUNY Buffalo State University Foundation Board, a board member of Say Yes Buffalo and the National Italian American Foundation, and a member of the Board of Governors of the State University System of Florida.
