Sinatra & Co. is a visionary real estate firm founded in Buffalo, New York by Nick Sinatra. It is a privately held, vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and management company, focused on value-add acquisitions and development.
At inception, the firm’s focus was to source and invest in residential and multifamily properties that had not yet, or were no longer meeting, their full potential in the market.
Today, Sinatra & Co. owns and manages more than $700 million in real estate assets, including over 5,000 multifamily units across the Western New York, Midwest and West-Central Florida regions. Its seasoned team works to forge continued growth in assets, reach, and services across development, rehabilitation, brokerage, advisory, and property management sectors.
While Sinatra & Co.’s focus remains on well-timed, well-placed multifamily acquisitions in core-plus markets and the exceptional development and management thereof, it continues to invest in urban infill, adaptive reuse, and rehabilitative development strategies as a complementary and most often, synergistic supplement to its core competencies.

2009-2010
ESTABLISHMENT AND VISION
In 2009, Nick Sinatra, a Kenmore, New York native, founded Sinatra and Company Real Estate with the vision of revitalizing neighborhoods and maximizing property potential in the Western New York region. The company aimed to create sustainable investments that offer financial returns and social impact to investors while prioritizing people over profits.
2010-2015
INITIAL FOCUS AND GROWTH
Initially, Sinatra and Company focused on identifying value-add real estate opportunities in Western New York, a strategy that quickly gained traction in the region. The firm's commitment to redevelopment and its innovative approach attracted a team of highly dedicated individuals who shared the vision for revitalizing Buffalo. As the firm expanded its expertise in multifamily holdings, it also diversified its portfolio by incorporating commercial properties, including retail and industrial spaces.
2015-2020
EXPANSION AND DIVERSIFICATION
Sinatra and Company underwent rapid growth and diversification from 2015 to 2020. The company expanded its operations beyond Western New York, entering new regions such as Upstate New York, Tampa, and Chicagoland. Their development projects shifted from historic to adaptive reuse properties, demonstrating the company's dedication to preserving community heritage while fostering economic growth. Our growth in the Florida market has expanded our development’s teams responsibilities to value-add strategies allowing us to improve the resident’s experience with newly renovated apartment homes to building strong communities in the marketplace. Renovations include interior and exterior improvements and adding purposeful amenities for our community members.
2010-2020
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AND INSTITUTIONAL BACKING
Throughout its history, Sinatra and Company has established valuable partnerships and secured institutional capital backing from Genesis Capital, Colony Capital, Auerbach Opportunity Funds, and the Arctaris Impact Fund. These strategic partnerships have facilitated the firm's expansion and its ability to undertake larger-scale projects, all while upholding its commitment to community-driven development.
